Cycling with Daddy!

Well as most of you are well aware Mal is a big fan of biking and since day 1 he has been wanting to get Ella on a bike! I had been searching for these bike seats for a few months and was beginning to think that they were not sold anymore however a few weeks ago I came across one at Toys R Us!

We have a bike trailor but it doesn't feel quite as safe ...and Ella just gets in there and falls asleep ...perhaps it will be better when she has company in there :-) I had trouble finding a bike helmet small enough as well... everywhere seemed to have helmets for 3 yrs and up ... I suppose one wouldn't really ride before then however she couldn't go in the seat safely without one ... fortunately I took a trip downtown to MEC and they had one that was perfect!!

Ella didn't mind the helmet at all ... we thought she might be upset as we strapped this big plastic thing to her head but no she was fine :-)
Off we go Daddy!!
There was a little uncertainty at first but she was still smiling!
We've been a little slack on the blogging in the last few weeks but please expect some updates over the next little while as our summer has been packed with fun thus far and we will get the details down sooner or later!! The picture above is Ella VERY ready to go in her pool ...fortunately July and Aug brought some hot days and she was loving the water!
