Annual Read Birthday Bash!

Between the last week of August and the beginning of September my sister, Carrie and both of her children Kate and Eli all have birthdays so its become a bit of a tradition that we have a celebratory BBQ for all of them at Mom and Dad's.

It was a very fun day for all of us ... Mal, Dad and Kevin took Eli out for mini golf and go carts ... poor Eli got stuck with Mal ... not sure he knew what he was in for!!
Mom took Kate shopping in the "big city" for the day ...yes when you live outside Halifax...it IS the BIG city :-)! Carrie and I took Ella and also went shopping ...we even started some Christmas shopping. We all met back at the house mid afternoon and enjoyed a great meal ...and birthday cake as well!

Kate and Eli displayed some of the outfits Mom picked them up for school ... what a perfect pair .. Mom and Kate in the mall ! :-) I think Kate was in heaven ! Kate and Eli are so great with Ella ... Eli can make her smile so quickly ... and as you can see is most tolerant with her ...even when she had a good grip on his hair :-)!
