Let the holidays begin ....

Well December is here and with all the effort put forth over the holidays I truly believe that we should celebrate for the whole month! Its only the first week of December and the lawns are covered with snow in Halifax thus making it much easier to get in the mood for Christmas.

Fortunately Malcolm had the foresight to put up our Christmas lights a few weeks ago as it was much warmer. We have lots planned for this month, Christmas cookie exchange, kids Christmas party, work parties, adult Christmas party ... loads of fun!
So this photo of Ella & Henry with Santa was most impromptu as I really didn't think Ella would sit on Santa's knee (she gets a little shy around strangers) however when at the Mall last week with Grandma we decided to take a "peek" at Santa and who b-lined it for him while another child was getting their photo done .. Ella! I had to pull her back by the hood of her jacket! LOL! Anyhow as her turn came she got a little nervous but once we plopped Henry boy on Santa's knee she was a-ok :-)

We also went for a family photo yesterday, this was not near as easy .... UGH ... fun with a 2 yr old! When Ella didn't have her tongue sticking out or her finger up her nose she had her bum in the air in her pretty dress (I suppose she doesn't wear one often enough!). Regardless after much effort we did get a few great shots .... that poor woman was patient!

Henry has found his thumb and is starting to use it for soothing ...not just chewing!

"Hi there" ... I am just about sitting up ... don't move my pillows though!!After the Christmas photos we stopped in to see Grandma & Grandad at work...Ella helped Grandad with his computer and played a little golf :-)
