Grandpa came for the weekend!

I am a little out of order here but wanted to get this post up as well ... the weekend before Halloween Grandpa Haigh came to Halifax for the weekend! He was working in Toronto mid week so he decided to skip on over to the East coast for a visit before heading back to Vancouver. It was so nice for Peter to meet Henry and also catch up with Ella ... I beleive he was suprised at just how much she could talk since seeing her last January!

Grandpa brought new toys for Ella & Henry from he and Grannie :-)!
Not only did he get to spend some time with his grandchildren but he REALLY helped out around our house! He and Malcolm worked on various projects in the basement (that is almost finished!!!) and also put up the railing and spindles on the outside of the house...we have been wanting to do this for over a year now!

Ready for Sunday dinner at Grandma & Grandads with Grandpa!
