Where did November go ???

Well we have been absent bloggers for the past month ... I cannot believe we pretty much missed the entire month of November!

It was an incredibly busy month as I started a new role at work and have been putting in a lot of extra hours; however other than work we have had some fun :-)!

Mal's brother Julian came to visit for 4 days from Ottawa and we were really happy to see him as he will be heading West for Christmas and we will not be able to make it out there until mid January. Mal and J had an eventful (RAINY) evening camping with a tent with no poles!! ...somehow they claimed to have a "great time" ... I would beg to differ but I suppose I wouldn't have interest in camping at this time of year in the best of weather :-)

That same night my sister Carrie and my niece Kate came up to join Ella and I for a "girl's night in Halifax"...we had lots of fun...manicures, pedicures and lots of girl talk! Its amazing and frightening all at the same time that often I feel as if I can have full on adult conversations with my 10 year old niece!

I also attended 2 big baby showers for my bestest friend Kelly and they were both lots of fun; one big one with ALL the Italian in laws and a super surprise shower at work ... that one damn near killed me as keeping secrets like that is tough for me :-)!

Ella is doing very well, running at top speed and starting to say more things everyday..her new favorites are "Ah Oh" and "All done"....it is really just too cute. I feel that every stage seems that much more exciting than the one before...can this continue into the teenage years ??
