Happy Halloween!

I have to admit over the last few years I have not been a huge fan of Halloween but now having Ella to dress up and enjoy the fun my Halloween spirit is coming back a little! Ella was a frog this year .... she and I sing "Hmm hmm goes the little green frog" often so it was most appropriate:-)

The Sunday before Halloween I hosted a Halloween party for Ella and her friends... There were 5 girls from my playgroup that I have remained very close with & their kiddies and some of my bestest girlfriends who have also had babies in the last year!! Its wild to think we are all at this stage of life ...its so much fun to be doing it all together!
On Halloween night we did not take Ella door to door as you know who would just be eating the candy! We thought we would save that until next year!
It was a nice evening so we dressed Ella up and she helped hand out the candy to all the kids! She was so excited everytime the door bell rang ... and was most generous with the chocolate bars.
We had about 50 kids this year ... last year it was only 20 so its going up ...they were all fairly young so it may increase as he years go by :-)
Grandma bought Ella a little pumpkin and Mal carved it for her ... he is wearing shades!
Hmmm whats in here ?? Poor Ella - are we terrible parents as she only ate raisins on Halloween night ... she loved them ..and I am thinking this won't last long so might as well kep it healthy while she doesn't know any better! I am sure next year will be a different story!

Hope you all had a very Happy Halloween!

Hey Jill, I am having one of those days at work where I don't want to do anything - 3 weeks to go until Mat leave starts - yeah! Anyway, I am so very impressed that you can work full time, mommy full time and still keep the blog going for friends and family - I admire you! I suspect the next entry may be pertaining to Ella's up coming Christmas parties...looking forward to it:-) TTYS....Crystal
