Mommy & Daddy's Pre Christmas Parties!

The weekend before Christmas brought lots of partying for Mal and I ... on the Friday night we went to the ELP Christmas party at the Hamachi Steakhouse. It is a very authentic Japanese tapanaki restaurant and there were 24 of us. We had so much fun ...the chef cooked all of our meals right in front of us and even had my Father up cracking eggs in the air at one point ...sadly we forgot the camera and have no pics ! But it was a great time had by all.


Saturday evening brought the annual Christmas potluck with our friends...this party started several years ago with lots of drinks but has evolved into a lovely dinner party over the years. This year there were 16 of us and Kelly and Luch hosted ... so it was just around the corner for us... I was on appetizer this year so I made a carrot and ginger soup! We also had a amazing roast beef, potatoes, veggies and 2 yummy desserts....its so nice that all my friends are such great cooks!!


It was a great time shared by all...a litte more tame with pending pregnancies in the house but loads of fun nonetheless! We did not discuss who was up for next year's dinner but I will look forward to it for sure!

Sunday following brought the Pulsifer Christmas in Bridgewater but I think that deseverves a post all of its own!
