First annual Christmas cookie exchange!

Last Friday my good friend Petra hosted our first annual Christmas cookie exchange... I had had a pretty busy week so rather than styaing up late and baking I totally left it to the last minute and took Friday afternoon off to make my cookies :-)! Those were some fresh cookies!

As many of you know Petra and Shane moved back to Halifax this past year so being able to start these holiday traditions with them is really very nice....it was rare that we didn't see each other over the holidays in the past however now that they are here things are much less rushed and so much easier to plan!

We all made 6 dozen cookies...got together ...ordered some pizza and enjoyed a nice girls night out!

I was most impressed with everyone's packaging job .... so fancy ladies! I am really going to make better effort next year as leaving it to the last minute ... was a tad hectic :-)!

Malcolm very much enjoyed the variety of cookies too ... I am sure this will be a tradition we will all look forward to for years to come :-)
