Deck the halls!

On the second weekend in December we decided it was time to get decorating! Malcolm brought all the boxes out of the garage and started on the outside of the house!
The lights were up just in time for the first snow of the Season! The next morning Ella, Mal and I piled in Mal's pick up truck to go look for a Christmas tree :-)

We hosted Sunday family dinner so Mom and Dad came early to help decorate the tree ....somehome I got out of putting on the lights this year!!
We were unsure how Ella would react with the tree but as you can see she was much more concerned helping my Mom clean up all the needles!! Grandma is a bit a of a neat freak ....and I think it may be in Ella's genes!
Voila the tree is done and looks perfect ...Ella did a little undecorating around the bottom but was overall very gentle :-)
