Happy 4th Birthday Ella!

Happy4th Birthday Ella!!! Today, June 17th is Ella's 4th birthday; we are both in a bit of shock as to how time has gone so fast that our little girl is now 4 but it sure was fun celebrating this year! Understanding the birthday concept very well this year Ella was fast in to planning; there was a princess theme and everyone needed a crown! Ella & I made crowns for all the children attending the party (14 kids)!

Its amazing how much fun bubbles can be...with so many children this was great fun!!

When we asked Ella if she wanted to play any games at her party she suggested "an easter egg hunt" so in order to keep with the theme Mal blew up MANY little balloons and hid them in the wooded area behind our house and the children had a "Balloon hunt"...the ground was a little soggy in parts but the children had fun!

Yeah for sun and our amazing playground; this was a birthday gift to both the children last year from both sets of grandparents....we are still very much thanking them!!!

Time for presents...Ella was happy to have helpers but was somewhat "directive" in letting them know when she needed help or was going to "open this one on her own"!LOL

Ahh the cake; I promised that I would make Ella her own special cake (rather than cupcakes as in years previous) this year so I picked the princess crown pan and off I went ... after an hour of decorating at 10pm the night before I ran out of pink icing and "got creative" ...somehow it worked out better than I thought it might!
