Snowed in to ring in 2009!

Happy New Year!! Welcome to 2009!

I am sure you have heard that Canada was covered in snow from coast to coast for the first time in 40 years! Well looks like our blizzards are not coming to an end anytime soon here on the East coast as on New Years Eve we were hit with another big one! Malcolm took off to Vancouver on the 30th to celebrate his Grandpa's 90th b'day so I spent New Years Eve here with the children and Jeff & Nadine. We had a relatively early night as Jeff had to work at 6am but enjoyed a yummy steak dinner and chocolate fondue! Ü

The snow started at 10pm and did not stop until 11pm on New Years Day! Ella, Henry and I had a pajama day inside all day ... it was really nice to be warm and cozy inside but I was happy to get someone to plow out the driveway by 8pm that night!

Believe it or not but there are front stairs under there somewhere! I am so thankful we can enter and leave via the garage!
