September - 2 weddings, 2 birthdays and Sir Elton John!

September was unusually busy! I generally feel that when September roles around the summer winds up and things start to slow down ...well not this year!

We had 2 weddings to attend; one that took us on a lovely overnight to Liscombe Lodge and the other here in the city so Chris and Vero kindly babysat and Mal and I enjoyed a fun afternoon/evening out!

Mid September Grannie & Grandpa Haigh made their way to the East coast for a few weeks! It was so nice to see them and Ella was so very excited! Fortunatley they were here in time to celebrate Mal's b'day so we had a nice big family dinner/party on the Sat before his birthday. I got Mal Rockband for his PS3 so after dinner we had a blast playing ...it was not at all what I had expected ...WAY more fun than I have ever found a video game before :-)

Peter & Audrey stayed with us for 5 days and then drove to Ottawa to see Julian, they then came back and stayed for the weekend before they flew back to Vancouver. We had a great visit...quite busy but lots of fun and fabulous weather to boot!

And to end to the festivities of the month we went to see Elton John in concert here in Halifax...it was AMAZING!! Perhaps the best concert I have ever seen ... he played for almost 3 hours and wowed the crowd with every tune!
