Look out PEI!

Several months ago my friends and I decided that it would be great fun to do a family and friends holiday in PEI this summer. So we researched cottages and found a place that was suitable for all of us and our children. There were 6 families, 12 adults & 8 children in all!

We left Saturday morning and arrived midday ... it was a lovely sunny and warm afternoon. We quickly settled into our little duplex cottages (each had 2 bedrooms, kitchen, living area and bathroom :-)) It was a perfect set up as our cottages were in a corner so we were all very close and had a nice grassy patch for the kids to play during the day and the parents to hang out during the evenings!

There was a great playground for the kids and a pool as well ... we didn't venture off the grounds as we were only there for 3 days and with Ella being the "oldest" of all the children there were naps going on all the time. This said it was most relaxing for us ... the weather was perfect (even HOT) and the set up enabled the adults to relax in the evenings once the children went to bed .... oh how things have changed ...the cup holders of the camping chairs all had a drink in one and a baby monitor in the other!!!

We had such a great time that we are all heading back again next year and staying for a bit longer!
