Vancouver

A few months ago we decided it was really time to introduce Henry to his Great Grandpa ...so we planned a trip for all 4 of us to travel to Vancouver for a week in May.

We had the most amazing time ... it was a very busy week but Malcolm made lots of plans in advance so we had lots of fun with close friends and family.

I won't do a play by play as there were lots of activities most days and nights ...but we spent lots of time at the playground, enjoyed 30 degree weather over the long weekend and had a few nice evenings out for dinner with friends without the children :-) (THANK YOU Audrey & Peter!)

I have to tell you our children must have received the "traveling genes" as they were AWESOME ...they just fabulous on the airplane ... Henry just smiled at everyone! At one point the Westjet attendant was carrying him around (they are truly great ...just like they claim on the ads). And the time change didn't phase them one bit ... within 24hrs they were back to 7pm-7am and the best part was Henry started sleeping through the night!! YEAH

Well here are some pics ...enjoy!

A few airplane shots!

A little break in the Toronto Airport...
Great Grandpa!

Mal and his father, Peter went snowshoeing on the mountains!

We drove to Hope, BC to visit Auntie Heather ...we had a lovely day!!!

Our wonderful friends, Shawn, Jessica and Jack!
Ella & Jack, both almost 3 :-)
Mal and his long time friend JP!
FUN FUN transportation ... Seabus, skytrain and bus all in one day ... Ella had a blast! No need for Disney at ago 3 age public transport is all the rage :-)!

Family day at the Vancouver Aquarium, we went with Shawn, Jess & Jack and had so much fun!
Mal & Michael climbed the Chief and camped for the night!
While Mommy enjoyed a day of shopping with Jessica...Grannie & Mal ensured the children had lots of fun!

Its sad how fast a week can go .... but at the same time impressive to look back on all that we accomplished :-) Thanks to everyone for ensuring we had a fabulous time!!!
