Where have Feb & March gone ????

Whew .... I think in the past February and March have been the slowest months of the year for me as the weather here in Halifax is always cold, snowy and wet .... making time crawl however this year I cannot tell you how fast it all went!

Here are a few pics to recount several posts that "should have" happened :-)

Uncle Chris and Veronica arrived in Halifax early in February as they decided to try living on the East Coast for awhile. They stayed with us for a month or so as they got settled....we had lots of fun and VERY much appreciated all their help with the children!

At the beginning of March Grannie came to visit from Vancouver and celebrated her birthday for the first time in Halifax! We had a lovely roast dinner followed by a fun game of cranium ... I must add that the "women" of the family " won that game!
Grannie & her grandchildren...boy were they both happy to see her!!
Mid March, Uncle Jeff's girlfriend Nadine (aka "Dine") took Ella to the Rebecca Cohn to see Backyardigans (these are very cute characters from a TV show that Ella loves).... Oh Ella was beside herself! She had such a great time and wants to "again again!"
Shortly after, I scooted away for the weekend to TO to go to a Pulsifer family wedding... it was a lovely weekend ... despite my nasty cold it was great "me" time and really nice to catch up with family I have not seen in years!

During my weekend away, Mal took Grannie, Uncle Chris, Veronica, Ella & Henry to a Mooseheads hockey game ... Ella has been to several this year and as you can see she had a great time!!
And somehow its Easter already .... with Easter being so early this year it was all a little bizarre ... I remember going outside in "Spring" clothes around Easter time ... but this year we had to dress Ella in a full snow suit to go out an try out her bubbles!!
We had a yummy turkey dinner here, Uncle Jeff was here to join us as well so it was great to have so many share in the festivities!

My brother in law Chris is really a great photographer ... these are a few of my favorites! Thanks Chris ...as with everything going on I am not sure how we could have captured these moments!
I just love this picture of Henry and Veronica !
