Happy Halloween!
Happy Halloween! We had a great time this year; Ella and Henry had lots of fun...we carved our pumpkins and they both helped ...Henry only tried to put the pumpkin "goop" (acc to Ella) in his mouth once then realized it was pretty gross!

As Halloween was a Friday it was a busy day, Ella and Henry both had parties at daycare, came home, ate dinner and were back in their costumes very quickly : ) Henry stayed with me to hand out candy and Mal took Ella out around the street with our neighbor and his 2 girls.
Ella had a great time ...she was a little shy at the door which was surprising as all week we were "playing trick or treat"! She was very excited about all the CANDY once she got home!
Saturday morning we had a children's Halloween party at our house, its becoming a bit of an annual event as this was our 3rd year. Its nice to see all the children in their costumes and at this age Halloween evening is a short lived event so its a great opportunity to dress up again and have some fun!Henry & Loren
After playing inside and having some snacks we went out to the playground and the children did a little scavenger hunt ...Ella helped me decide what everyone needed to find ...(red leaf, yellow leaf, acorn, pine cone, rock and a flower)....we took a little walk through the wooded area of our property which has been deemed "the spooky forest" to find everything on our lists.Ella with her scavenger hunt findings!
