Welcome to our world Henry Malcolm Haigh!!

We are very proud to announce the birth of our son, Henry Malcolm Haigh! On Friday, July 20th our somewhat stubborn little boy decided it was time to see the outside world! As Ella was 3 weeks early and I was measuring ahead ... we had been anticipating "something" to happen for days ...there were a few false alarms and at a few days shy of 40 weeks ... it all began...and once it started it all happened VERY fast :-)

We left for the hospital Thursday night and on Friday morning at 6:36am we welcomed Henry to our family! (why is it that women go into labor at night ????) There were lots of predictions surrounding when Henry would arrive and long ago my good friend Petra said she thought the baby would be born on her birthday ...and well sure enough he was! Good job P, thanks for sharing your special day!
SUPERMAN already!

Here we have a very proud Daddy, as mentioned Henry entered the world at rapid speed so as soon as Mal saw him he looked at me with an expression I will never forget and said " ITS A BOY!!"! Wow ...how lucky could we be to be blessed with one of each :-)Ella met Henry the next day, she was really excited and thus far is quite taken with him!
Ella has a few of her own "babies" but now she thinks she has a "real one" ... the transition thus far is going well. She is a little "cranky" with me from time to time but is not taking it out on him so watching her with him is just great!
