Happy 60th Dad!

Well I am AGAIN a little behind in the blogging but wanted to share this post with you as a few weeks ago we had a great surprise 60th birthday party for my father.
He thought he has escaped the curse of the party by leaving the country and going to the British Virgin Islands with my Mom and their good friends Marc & Sue but alas it really just made planning everything much easier in our eyes :-)
We decided to keep it smallish ... just very close friends and family as I didn't want Dad to be too overwhelmed and wanted have a good time of course!
Here are a few pics of the fun evening ... it was at a restaurant nearby ... I had considered having it here but Jeff convinced me otherwise .. THANK YOU!!! Brilliant idea ... and easy to get Dad there.

Mom did a FABULOUS job ...we were all a little worried but she didn't even tell Dad that they were meeting Jeff, Nadine, Mal, Ella and I for dinner until that morning ... the look on his face when he entered the restaurant to see us all there was enough to know he was SHOCKED!

We had a nice meal, some yummy birthday cake and of course some lovely presents, it was a great evening ... Happy Birthday Dad!!
