Happy 2nd Birthday to our little girl!!

On June 17th. Ella Victoria turned 2!! Its hard to beleive that 2 years have gone by so quick ... I feel as if it was only yesterday when we were bringing her home from the hospital! We had a birthday party here at the house for Ella with all her little friends on Sat the 16th...it was from 10am -1230pm and the timing was perfect. There were 8 other children all under 2 and their respective Mommies and Daddies! We had been preparing her for the party all week ...she had been singing Happy Birthday to herself most days in the car on the way to work :-) Too cute ....however it seemed to work as she had a great time and was not bothered at all by everyone playing with all her toys .... she can be a little posessive these days :-) Malcolm and Ella both share a LOVE for ice cream!! Fortunately Ella is quite willing to share :-)On Sunday, Ella's real b'day it was also Father's Day so my Mom had a lovely bbq to celebrate both. The whole fam was there ... it was a most relaxing afternoon for all of us!

With the timing it looks like Mal may share many Father's Day with Ella 's b'day but really doesn't seem to mind :-)

Ella was so zonked on Sat that after everyone left she slept until 4pm! I think she is just now recovering from all the celebrations .... however singing Happy Birthday to Ella is still continuing ... its become just one of the others like her ABC's or Itsy Bitsy Spider!
