What a weekend!

Just a quick post to show you some pictures from last weekend, it was really busy but lots of fun!

On Friday, Grandma, Ella, Henry and I did a little Christmas shopping ...this is Ella's idea of shopping!

Friday night I hosted a cookie exchange with 5 close friends...these are all our cookies nicely packaged...I had intended on freezing some however we have been enjoying them ...oh well t'is the season!
Saturday morning we went to a children's Christmas party and gift exchange at Kelly, Luch and Loren's house....we had decided to draw names for the kids this year so it was great to see all the little ones open their "gift" ...at this age it makes so much more sense!

Saturday afternoon we went out and played in the snow; we have lots of snow in NS this year.... its been a few years since we have had a white Christmas so it will be nice for the holidays (note ... by Jan I will be wishing it to LEAVE!)

As we tried to put the hat on our snowman Ella said "no its my hat and put it on her own head" :-)

On Sunday we had my family over for dinner and had a little tree decorating party! I am hoping my father has more pictures of Ella decorating the tree ... she had a great time but got a little carried away and broke a few ornaments ... ooops :-)

So now all we have left to do is finish shopping ...wrap and attend several Christmas parties this coming weekend! YEAH!! I really do love this time of year!!
